Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds ground pork (30% fat)
  • 1 head garlic (small, minced, or 2 1/2 teaspoons granulated garlic)
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon oregano powder
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Olive Oil, for frying

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Do a taste test first, by frying a small amount; if you’re satisfied, wrap in wax paper or plastic wrap like sausage or just shape into disc like a burger patty and store in the freezer.

  • Step 2: To cook, simply heat some olive oil or any cooking oil in a frying pan, and fry longganisa/sausage until it caramelizes and is browned..you’ll love the smell :)
