Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F. Heat olive oil in a large skillet; add onion and garlic and saute 5 minutes, or until onion is tender.
Step 2: Add ground beef, 1/2 teaspoon basil, oregano, thyme, 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt, salt and pepper and saute until ground beef is browned, about 10 minutes. Drain excess liquid.
Step 3: Spray a 3-quart casserole dish with cooking spray. Spread meat mixture evenly over bottom of pan and spread about half the spaghetti sauce over the top.
Step 4: Layer, in order, mushrooms, black beans, corn and lima beans; spread remaining spaghetti sauce over top, covering vegetables completely. Sprinkle with remaining basil and garlic salt.
Step 5: Cover and bake for 30-35 minutes. Sprinkle with Parmesan and bake, uncovered, for 5 minutes more.
