Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 head (700 grams) frisée lettuce (large head, 6 cups lettuce, torn)
  • 1 whole avocado (sliced or cubed)
  • 2 ounces blue cheese, crumbled (1/4 cup)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 350F. On a rimmed baking sheet, toast the almonds (tossing once) until golden (3-5 min). Allow to cool & set aside.

  • Step 2: In a lrg bowl, whisk together the oil, vinegar, mustard, honey, salt & pepper.

  • Step 3: Add the frisée, avocado, blue cheese & almonds. Toss to coat & divide among 4 salad plates/bowls to serve.
