Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 16 ounces avocados (halved, pitted & peeled, two 8 ounce avocados))
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened & cut in 1/2-in pieces, 1 stick)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Process the avocado flesh & butter in a food proc or blender until completely smooth. W/the proc still running, slowly pour in the cream. Add the powdered sugar & pulse until light green & well-combined (about 1 min). Cover & refrigerate until ready to use.

  • Step 2: SERVING SUGGESTIONS: This is best when served on fully cooled baked goods like vanilla cupcakes & shortbread or sugar cookies. Lemon-flavored baked goods might work well too.

  • NOTE FROM ME: As usual, I'll use my hand-held stick blender to fix this. It's efficient & clean-up is a breeze compared to a food proc or blender
