Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 4 ounces grated Jarlsberg cheese
  • 2 teaspoons dill, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 4 slices (4 ounces) bread
  • 1 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
  • 3 ounces smoked turkey (sliced)
  • 1/3 cup jalapeno slices (jarred, sweet and hot, drained)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a bowl combine the cheese with the dill.

  • Step 2: Butter one side of two slices of bread and place them butter side down in a skillet.

  • Step 3: Spread mustard over the top of the bread in the pan. Divide half of the cheese between the two slices of bread. Divide the turkey and the jalapeƱos between the two and then top with the remaining cheese. Butter the remaining slices of bread the top the sandwiches butter side up.

  • Step 4: Cook over medium heat, pressing down on the sandwiches until golden brown (under 5 minutes); flip sandwiches over and cook until golden and cheese has melted (under 5 minutes).

  • Step 5: Let cool briefly before slicing and serving.
