Step 1: Use an apple core to remove the core and some surrounding flesh but don't cut through the bottom.
Step 2: Then with a small knife cut through the skin around the equator of the apples.
Step 3: Place a nut of butter in each apple followed by a teaspoonful of honey and then fill with raisins and drizzle over any remaining honey.
Step 4: Top each apple with another nut of butter and place in a baking dish in which the apples fit snugly and add the water to the dish.
Step 5: Bake at 200C oven until the apples puff up and are slightly coloured, by then they will be delicious and tender.
Step 6: Serve with a good blob of cream or ice cream and any remaining juices.
