Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3/4 cup milk (chilled)
  • 1 vanilla bean (split lengthwise)
  • 480 grams ice cream (vanilla, 2 1/4 cups)
  • 2 tablespoons malted milk powder
  • 1/4 cup malted milk balls ( such as Whoppers - 1 ounce, crushed in a mortar with pestle or in a processor)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place 2 large (12 ounce or larger) glasses in the freezer to chill for 1 hour.

  • Step 2: In a blender pour in the milk and then scrape the seeds from a vanilla bean (discard bean). Cover and blend for 15 seconds. Add ice cream and the malted milk powder and blend until thick and creamy; you may need to stop to push down the ice cream while you are blending the shake.

  • Step 3: Divide between the chilled glasses and top with crushed malted malt balls and serve.
