Step 1: Mix first 5 ingredients thoroughly.
Step 2: Sift dry ingredients together and blend. Chill dough.
Step 3: Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Step 4: Drop dough by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on a lightly greased baking sheets. (Cookies will spread during baking.)
Step 5: Bake about 8 minutes or until almost no imprint remains when touched lightly. While slightly warm frost with vanilla or lemon icing.
