Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 (1 to 1 1/4 pounds) boneless pork loin chops (3/4" thick each)
  • Garlic powder (to taste)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 can (10 ounce) condensed mushroom soup (Campbell's Golden Mushroom Soup)
  • 1 can (8 ounce) pineapple chunks (undrained)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons honey
  • Cooked rice (white or brown)
  • Green onions, sliced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Season the pork chops with garlic powder, salt and pepper on each side..

  • Step 2: Heat some oil in skillet. Add chops and cook until browned. Remove to a plate.

  • Step 3: To skillet add in onion, cook until softened, about 3 minutes.

  • Step 4: To the same skillet, add the pineapple chunks with juice, water, soy sauce and honey. Heat to a boil.

  • Step 5: Add the browned chops back to the skillet. Cook partially covered over low heat for around 20-25 minutes or until the pork chops are tender.

  • Step 6: Serve with cooked rice, garnish with green onions.
