Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 5 to 6 cups broccoli, coarsely chopped (one large broccoli crown, lightly steamed, drained then hand-squeezed to remove excess moisture)
  • 1 can (10-3/4 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (low-fat is okay)
  • 1 cup reduced-fat cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 large egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)
  • Salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup butter-flavored crackers, crushed
  • 2 tablespoon Parmesan cheese, grated (can use more)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, then grease a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.

  • Step 2: In a bowl combine the steamed broccoli with the next 6 ingredients, then season with salt and pepper to taste; transfer to baking dish.

  • Step 3: In a small bowl combined the crushed cracker with melted butter and parmesan cheese; sprinkle over top.

  • Step 4: Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly.
