Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2: In the bowl of a food processor pulse the oats for a minute; add rest of dry ingredients (-salt) and pulse until blended. Add butter and pulse until combined.
Step 3: In a bowl whisk together the wet ingredients (egg - lemon juice). Stir in dry mixture and then stir in the cherries.
Step 4: Transfer dough to a floured work surface and pat into a 10-12 inch circle. With a knife cut dough into 8 wedges.
Step 5: Transfer wedges to parchment lined cookie sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 6: Let cool in pan for 5 minutes before transferring to wire rack to cool completely.
