Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 teaspoons oil (vegetable oil)
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 500 grams ground beef (beef mince)
  • Heinz Fiery Mexican Beanz Creationz (1 can, 420 grams)
  • 1 packet (35 gram) taco seasoning mix (Mission Brand)
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 packet (230 gram) tortilla (strips, Mission Brand)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Mexican 3 cheese blend, Kraft brand)
  • 3/4 cup Mild Salsa (195 grams Mission Brand)
  • 1/2 cup Corn Kernels (100 grams Golden Circle Brand)
  • 1 tablespoon coriander, finely chopped (cilantro)
  • 1/3 cup sliced jalapenos (80 grams Sandhurst Brand)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (120 grams)
  • Coriander leaves, to serve (cilantro)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 180C.

  • Step 2: Heat oil in a frying pan over medium and heat and add onion and cook for 2 minutes and then then add mince and cook, stirring with a wooden spoon to break up lumps, for 5 minutes or until browned and then stir in Heinz Fiery Mexican Beanz Creationz, Mission Taco Seasoning, tomato paste and 1/2 cup (125ml) water and simmer for 5 minutes until most of the liquid has evaporated.

  • Step 3: Divide Mission Original Tortilla Strips White Corn among 4 ovenproof dishes and top with the mince mixture and cheese and bake for 7 to 10 minutes or until cheese melts.

  • Step 4: Meanwhile, combine Mission Chunky Salsa Mild, Golden Circle Corn Kernels and chopped coriander/cilantro in a bowl.

  • Step 5: Top nachos with the Sandhurst Sliced jalapenos, sour cream and salsa mixture and sprinkle with coriander/cilantro leaves and serve.
