Step 1: Heat Crisco Shortening or Crisco Oil in a large skillet on medium heat. Brown the pork chops.
Step 2: Arrange the yam slices, onion slices and green pepper rings over pork chops. Sprinkle with thyme, marjoram, salt and pepper.
Step 3: Top with tomatoes.
Step 4: Cover, then cook on low heat one hour or until tender.
