  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter (creamy)
  • 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • FOR THE WOK
  • 1 tablespoon shallot, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger root, minced
  • 1 tablespoon oil (canola oil)
  • 1/2 pound fresh green beans (trimmed)
  • FOR TOPPING
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped peanuts (roasted)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, peanut butter and red pepper flakes; set aside.

  • Step 2: In a wok, saute shallot and ginger in oil over medium heat for 2 minutes or until crisp-tender.

  • Step 3: Add green beans; cook and stir for 3 minutes or until crisp-tender.

  • Step 4: Add reserved sauce; toss to coat.

  • Step 5: Sprinkle with cilantro and peanuts
