Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • FOR DRESSING
  • 5 to 6 tablespoons honey
  • 4 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon mustard (spicy brown mustard)
  • 1/4 cup oil (vegetable oil)
  • FOR SALAD
  • 1 bag (14 ounce) coleslaw mix (Dole Colourful Coleslaw Mix, 4 cups)
  • 12 ounces apples (2 medium Gala apples, or other red skin apple)
  • 6 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup cashew nuts, chopped (roasted, or roasted peanuts)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Make the dressing: mix all ingredients together.

  • Step 2: Mix the salad ingredients together in a bowl, add in dressing, mix to combine well.

  • Step 3: Sprinkle roasted nuts on top.

  • Note: if you want to make it ahead leave out the apples, mix them in just before serving
