Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (dried, use only if you want it spicy)
  • 1 can (6 ounce) tomato sauce
  • 2 cups refried beans
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 12 small (360 grams) flour tortillas (12 small)
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • FOR TOPPINGS
  • Diced tomato
  • Diced sweet onion
  • Sour cream
  • Salsa
  • Shredded lettuce

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown ground beef with garlic, about 8-10 minutes; drain fat. Mix in taco seasoning, chili flakes, refried beans and tomato sauce. Cook stirring for about 15 minutes. Add salt and pepper.

  • Step 2: Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  • Step 3: Grease a 9x13 inch pan.

  • Step 4: Divide the cooked taco filling into taco shells. Place them side by side in pan.

  • Step 5: Top each shell with shredded cheese.

  • Step 6: Bake for approximately 15 minutes, (watching closely that they don't brown too much).

  • Step 7: Serve with toppings. SO GOOD!
