Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 225 grams bulgur wheat (1 cup)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest, grated
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 grams radish, sliced (6 radish)
  • 3 scallions, sliced
  • 1 (8 ounce) fennel bulb (trimmed, halved lengthwise, and sliced)
  • 1/2 cup basil, chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a saucepan over high heat combine the bulgur, water and 1/4 teaspoon salt and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer until tender - about 10 minutes; drain any excess water. Let cool to room temperature.

  • Step 2: In a large salad bowl whisk together the lemon zest with the juice, garlic,1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper. Add bulgur and the rest of the ingredients (- basil). Toss.
