  • 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable oil)
  • 1 clove garlic,smashed
  • 6 (6 ounce) boneless pork loin chops
  • 1 can (10.75 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 36 ounces potatoes (6 potatoes, thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • FOR TOPPING
  • 1/2 cup french fried onions
  • 1 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

  • Step 2: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high-heat.

  • Step 3: Place the pork chops in the oil, and sear.

  • Step 4: Add onions and garlic.

  • Step 5: In a medium bowl, combine the soup ,Worcestershire sauce and the milk.

  • Step 6: Arrange the potatoes and onions in a 9x13 inch baking dish.

  • Step 7: Place the browned chops over the potatoes and onions, then pour the soup mixture over all.

  • Step 8: Sprinkle with paprika.

  • Step 9: Cover, bake 30 minutes in the preheated oven.

  • Step 10: Uncover, top with the cheese,and fried onions and bake for 30 more minutes.
