Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Nut Topping
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped very fine
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Streusel Topping
  • 1/4 cup sugar (I like using brown..but white works as well )
  • 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Sugar and Cinnamon Topping
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (I use white)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Nut Topping, in small bowl, add and mix together 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup walnuts finely chopped, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, sprinkle on muffins just before putting muffins in to bake.

  • Step 2: Streusel Topping, in small bowl, add and mix together 1/4 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons flour, 2 tablespoons butter, sprinkle on muffins just before baking. NOTE: Many recipes call for adding and cutting in small cubes of cold butter, for me when making Streusel topping for muffins I simple add softened butter, cut it in with a pastry blender but generally I use my finger tips to get a nice crumble. Quick, easy and works for me!

  • Step 3: Sugar and Cinnamon Topping, in small bowl, add and mix 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoons cinnamon and sprinkle on top of muffins before putting muffins in the oven to bake.
