Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound sausage meat (Jimmy Dean)
  • 1 envelope (2.75 ounce) gravy mix (Country gravy mix, your fav)
  • 2 rolls (8 ounce) refrigerated crescent rolls (Pillsbury, you will use 2 rolls, 8 ounce each)
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 large eggs
  • Butter (as you desire)
  • 4 ounces Pepper Jack cheese, shredded
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 375. Separate crescent dough into 16 triangles and place on a greased, round pizza pan with points toward the center. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of pan to form a crust; seal seams. Bake for 11-13 minutes or until golden brown; set aside.

  • Step 2: In a skillet cook the sausage meat, about 12 minutes; drain fat. Remove to a bowl.

  • Step 3: In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt and pepper.

  • Step 4: In the same skillet that you cooked the sausage meat, heat about 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add egg mixture; cook and stir until almost set but not cooked completely; remove the eggs to a plate so they do not keep cooking.

  • Step 5: In a saucepan, prepare gravy mix according to package directions. Stir in cooked sausage.

  • Step 6: Spread sausage/gravy mixture over the crust. Top with eggs then both cheeses.

  • Step 7: Bake 5-10 minutes or until eggs are set and cheese is melted. Cut into wedges.
