Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup light cream
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 small yellow onion, chopped (optional, I usually saute first with 1-2 cloves of garlic)
  • 1/2 cup green peas (frozen, thawed if you like or canned corn, well drained)
  • 1 large potato (cooked and 1/2 inch diced)
  • 250 grams cooked chicken (2 cups cups shredded or chunked)
  • 1 package (7.5 ounces) refrigerated biscuits (10 biscuits)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat the oven to 400°F.

  • Step 2: In a bowl, Stir the soup, garlic powder, light cream, cheese and black pepper in a 3-quart shallow baking dish. Stir in the vegetables and chicken.

  • Step 3: Bake for 25 minutes or until the chicken mixture is hot and bubbling. Stir the chicken mixture. Top the chicken mixture with the biscuits.

  • Step 4: Bake for 15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown. Yummy!
