Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef (depending on how many meatballs you want, shaped into tiny balls, I used a heaping tablespoon of ground beef)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • Black pepper (as much as you want!)
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • Low-sodium beef bouillon granules (combined with 2 cups hot water until you get a fairly strong beef flavor, or you could use the liquid form of bouillon - I use beef soup powder, it works just as well and is much cheaper)
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Hot cooked egg noodles (or cooked pasta or rice)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat 1 tablespoon oil and 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add in tiny meatballs, sprinkle with garlic powder, a little seasoned salt and lots of pepper. Using a spatula turning often, brown balls VERY WELL on all sides. The last few minutes of cooking add in the onion and garlic, continue cooking a few minutes more.

  • Step 2: Add in 2 tablespoons of flour; mix and blend a little. Add in beef broth, stirring over heat until at a light boil. Cook until thickened. Mix in heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Continue simmering (uncovered) for about 20-25 minutes. Season with more pepper if needed.

  • Step 3: Divide the mixture over noodles. Dust with some Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
