Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 12 ounces dry egg noodles (extra wide)
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, diced (optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook the egg noodles according to package directions.

  • Step 2: Drain and set aside.

  • Step 3: Melt butter in 10 inch skillet, over medium high heat, add diced onion and minced garlic, saute lightly until the onion is tender. (if using green pepper add it here).

  • Step 4: Add noodles and stir to mix in onions.

  • Step 5: Salt and pepper to taste.

  • Step 6: Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally until noodles are crispy around the edges and light brown.
