Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 7 bananas
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (sifted)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup crushed corn flakes cereal
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 4 tablespoons heavy cream (add if necessary)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Ground cinnamon (pinch of)
  • FOR MELTED CHOCOLATE
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 3 ounces chocolate chips (1/2 cup)
  • Salt, pinch of
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to Make

  • FOR MELTED CHOCOLATE

  • Step 1: Mix all ingredients and microwave until choc chips soften

  • Step 2: Bottom: Mix everything together in a bowl, except for bananas.

  • Step 3: Cut bananas into 3.

  • Step 4: Using butter, lightly fry them until brown & caramelize. Place bananas in an oven proof baking dish. Sprinkle 1/3 cup of sugar & pinch of cinnamon.

  • Step 5: Dot with dollops of melted chocolate.

  • Step 6: Top with flour mixture, dot with the rest of melted chocolate.

  • Step 7: Bake for about 50 minutes at 350 degrees
