Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 cups cubed bread (2-day old, sliced into small cubes)
  • 3 teaspoons bouillon granules (chicken or beef)
  • 1/4 cup dried minced onion
  • 1/2 cup dried minced celery
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Put bread into baking pan and toast at 350 F (175 C) for 8 to 10 minutes or until dry, stirring occasionally.

  • Step 2: Remove from oven place in a large bowl and cool.

  • Step 3: Mix all the dry spices together. Toss well with the cooled bread cubes.

  • Step 4: Store in airtight container until needed.

  • TO PREPARE THE STUFFING

  • Step 5: Boil 1/2 cup water and 2 tablespoons butter or melted margarine. Add 2 cups bread/seasoning mix. Let sit for 5 minutes.
