  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup pork fat (bacon drippings)
  • 1 cup corn meal

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook tomatoes until they break apart (it says to strain them but I don't think they did, I think she meant sieved them so it was smooth). Add salt, pepper and bacon grease.

  • Step 2: Whisk in corn meal; simmer on low until thick stirring often, 15 minutes.
