Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound gnocchi
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped yellow onion
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 3 ounces bacon slices (3 slices, fried and crumbled)
  • 1/4 cup green peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/4 pound grape tomatoes (halved)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

How to Make

  • Step 1: Boil gnocchi in water according to directions on package. Drain.

  • Step 2: While water is coming to a boil for cooking gnocchi, melt butter in a skillet. Saute onions till translucent, then add garlic. Cook for 1 minute. Add in peas, tomatoes, salt, pepper, and basil. Cook on medium-low till tomatoes are soft. Add in cooked gnocchi, crumbled bacon and parmesan cheese. Stir to blend. Serve hot.
