  • SPICE BLEND
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • CHILI BASE
  • 1 pound sausage (Beer Bratwurst ,casings removed)
  • 1/2 cup chopped sweet onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cans (14.5 ounce) beans (chili seasoned beans)
  • 1 can (14.5 ounce) diced tomatoes (seasoned with basil, garlic, and oregano)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine all spice blend ingredients and set aside.

  • Step 2: In a medium size skillet over medium heat and cook meat and onion until meat is browned and onion is tender(do not drain meat).

  • Step 3: Pour meat/onion into 3 quart crockpot and add rest of ingredients and stir well.

  • Step 4: Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
