  • 1/4 cup whipping cream (chilled)
  • 1 cup whipping cream (chilled)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons caramel sauce (prepared, the type you put on ice cream)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Bring 5 cups water and chocolate to a simmer in a saucepan , stirring to dissolve the chocolate. Mix in 1/4 cup cream.

  • Step 2: Whip remaining 1 cup cream and the powdered sugar in a bowl using an electric mixer until peaks form.

  • Step 3: Drizzle caramel sauce over and swirl together, forming streaks.

  • Step 4: Divide the hot chocolate among 6 mugs. Top with a generous amount of caramel whipped cream.
