Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 ounces bacon slices (3 slices, diced)
  • 1 yellow onion (chopped)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 (2 pounds) pork loin chops (about 2 pounds, bone-in cut 3/4 inch thick, trimmed)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a skillet combine the first 3 ingredients (bacon - garlic) over medium high heat and cook until bacon is crisp. Drain fat. Stir in soy sauce and next 5 ingredients (- salt) and bring to a boil. Reduce heat an simmer.

  • Step 2: Meanwhile fry the pork chops in another skillet over medium high heat until browned (10 minutes), turning once.

  • Step 3: Spoon bacon mixture over the pork chops; cover; reduce heat to low and cook 30 minutes.
