Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons oil (rice bran oil)
  • 2 medium brown onions (halved and thinly sliced)
  • 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • Fresh gingerroot (2 cm piece, peeled and finely grated)
  • 453 grams cauliflower (1/2 small cauliflower, cut into small florets)
  • 1 packet (125 gram) corn (baby corn, fresh)
  • 80 grams snow peas (trimmed)
  • 1 cup chopped cabbage (green cabbage, roughly chopped)
  • 1/3 cup oyster sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cornflour
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1 packet (227 gram) chow mein noodles

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat work over high heat and add oil and swirl to coat and then add onion, garlic and ginger and stir-fry for 1 minutes or until fragrant and then add cauliflower and corn and stir-fry for 2 minutes or until just tender and then add snow peas, cabbage, oyster sauce and pepper and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

  • Step 2: Place cornflour in a bowl and add stock, stirring until smooth and add to vegetable mixture and stir-fry for 1 to 2 minutes or until sauce begins to thicken and then add noodles and toss to combine.

  • Step 3: Serve.
