Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Roast beef (left over, diced or shredded)
  • 2 to 2 1/4 pounds potatoes (4 large Tatties, Potatoes, partially boiled and sliced)
  • 1 yellow onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon drippings (from cooked beef or Lard)
  • Beef stock (a wee touch of)
  • Salt and black pepper
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Add a wee bit of lard to a pot and gently cook the onions until soft;

  • Step 2: Add the beef or other and salt and pepper.

  • Step 3: Layer over with tattie slices and cover with the stock to taste (depending on how moist you prefer the meal);

  • Step 4: Suggestion - add a wee bit and top up as required.

  • Step 5: Simmer on the hob for about an hour or cook in the oven at 190c/380f/gas 5 for about 50 minutes.
