Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons water (hot)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons instant coffee granules
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or light corn syrup)
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt (or sea salt)
  • 1 cup pecans (halves, 3 1/2 ounces)
  • 1 cup walnuts (halves, 3 1/2 ounces)
  • 1 cup almonds (whole unsalted, 5 ounces)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheet with foil.

  • Step 2: Combine water and coffee granules in medium saucepan; stir until dissolved.

  • Step 3: Stir in sugar, honey and salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved.

  • Step 4: Remove from heat; stir in nuts until completely coated.

  • Step 5: Spread in single layer over prepared baking sheet.

  • Step 6: Bake for 5 minutes; stir. Bake for an additional 10 minutes, stirring halfway through bake time.

  • Step 7: Cool completely on baking sheet.

  • Step 8: Break into pieces; store in an airtight container. Can be made up to one week in advance.
