Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans halves
  • 3/4 cup pine nuts
  • 3/4 cup pumpkin seeds (shelled, pepitas)
  • 1/3 cup pistachios (shelled)
  • 3 tablespoons oil (vegetable oil)
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3/4 to 1 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper (to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Coat a 15x10x1-inch baking sheet with cooking spray.

  • Step 2: In a large bowl, combine pecans, pine nuts, pumpkin seeds, pistachios and oil.

  • Step 3: Mix in sugar, 3/4 teaspoon of ground cayenne pepper and salt; make sure all nuts are covered. Season with additional cayenne pepper if desired.

  • Step 4: Spoon nuts evenly across pan and place in oven.

  • Step 5: Bake about 15 to 20 minutes or until nuts are brown, shake pan frequently.

  • Step 6: Remove from oven and cool.
