Step 1: In a large bowl, mix ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, bread crumbs, egg and Worcestershire sauce- form into plump 4 patties.
Step 2: Heat a skillet over medium then add the butter - cook the meat patties for about 4 minutes per side or until browned- remove and set aside.
Step 3: Turn the heat to low/medium and place the onions in the pan ( on top of the butter and browned bits - cook for 20 minutes or more until the onions are soft and well browned - stir occasionally.
Step 4: Sprinkle in the 2 Tb of flour over the onions and let cook, while stirring, for about 2 minutes.
Step 5: Add the beef broth and turn up the stove to medium.
Step 6: Add the meat patties back into the pan- cover - and let cook for 15 more minutes.
