Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2: Line a rimmed cookie sheet with parchment paper and then arrange the pears cut-side-up in a single layer. Top each pear half with butter and season with salt. Scatter the thyme and bay leaves over the pears and drizzle with honey.
Step 3: Bake for one hour, turning every 15 minutes or until pears are carmalelized and tender.
Step 4: Transfer to a warmed dish and serve hot with chilled cream.
