Step 1: Turn the crockpot on to high for 10 to 15 minutes. Add the butter until it melts and then put in the nuts and sugar and stir well. Cover and cook on high for 15 minutes.
Step 2: Turn the crock pot to low and prop the lid open with a chopstick. Cook on low for 2 hours, stirring occasionally until the nuts are glazed with a crisp glaze.
Step 3: Transfer the nuts to a bowl. Combine the spices and salt in a smaller bowl, and sift them over the nuts. Stir to coat evenly. Cool nuts before serving them.
