Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 ounces rice (instant rice, about 1/4 cup)
  • 1 large (slightly beaten)
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup yellow onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounce) condensed tomato soup (undiluted and divided)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a medium sized bowl combine meat, rice, egg, parsley, onion, garlic, paprika, pepper, salt and 1/4 cup tomato soup. Mix thoroughly and shape into about 15-20 meatballs and place in a skillet. brown in a little oil on all sides, about 12-15 minutes.

  • Step 2: Mix remaining soup with water, worchestershire sauce and sugar. Pour over meatballs. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Simmer covered with a lid, for about 25-30 minutes stirring often until the meatballs are cooked through and the rice is tender.
