Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Prepare brownie batter as directed on package; spread into greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
Step 3: In a bowl ceat cream cheese with an electric mixer until creamy; add sugar, egg and vanilla then continue to beat until well combined.
Step 4: Drop the cream cheese by tablespoonfuls over brownie batter then swirl with knife.
Step 5: Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.
Step 6: Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until cream cheese mixture is lightly browned; cool completely before cutting to serve (store any leftovers in refrigerator).
