Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • (12 ounces sliced ham (12 slices)
  • 1/2 cup chives (chopped)
  • 1 cup grated tasty cheese (or cheddar grated)
  • 4 large eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 170 gram yogurt (1 carton plain natural)
  • 130 grams cherry tomatoes (vine)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to moderate 180C (160C fan forced).

  • Step 2: Grease a tray of 12 x 1/2 cup capacity muffin holes.

  • Step 3: Trim ham slices, using a 10.5cm round cutter and line the base and sides of muffin pan holes.

  • Step 4: Finely chop left over ham and combine with chives and grated cheese, reserving a little for the top.

  • Step 5: Sprinkle ham and cheese mixture evenly between the 12 ham lined muffin cases.

  • Step 6: Beat eggs and yoghurt together and season to taste.

  • Step 7: Pour egg mixture evenly between cases and sprinkle with remaining ham, chive and cheese mix and season with pepper.

  • Step 8: Bake 20-25 minutes or until puffed and golden.

  • Step 9: Place vine tomatoes on a flat tray and place in the oven for the last 5 minutes of cooking.

  • Step 10: Serve hot savoury puffs with the cherry tomatoes.
