Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup butter (softened)
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • CINNAMON FILLING
  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • GLAZE
  • 1 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons milk (or as needed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray or grease a 9×13 pan.

  • Step 2: In a small bowl,combine the cinnamon sugar mix.

  • Step 3: In small bowl combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

  • Step 4: In large bowl, beat butter on high until creamy. Beat in sugars. Gradually beat in eggs and vanilla into sugar mixture until combined. On low speed, beat in dry ingredients until combined.

  • Step 5: Spoon half of the batter into pan and spread evenly, then sprinkle the cinnamon filling mixture on top. Drop the rest of the batter by teaspoons on top of the cinnamon filling mixture.

  • Step 6: Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown or until toothpick inserted comes clean. Let cool for an hour.

  • Step 7: Mix all glaze ingredients together until smooth, then drizzle the glaze over the cooled bars.
