Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (it called for 1/2 cup)
  • 2 yellow onions, chopped fine
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped fine
  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef (it called for ground round)
  • 10 ounces tomato soup (1 can)
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 1 cup water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Roll the meat into little balls and brown in hot oil.

  • Step 2: Add veggies (more bell peppers is a plus) and saute until soft.

  • Step 3: Add soup, water and chili sauce and simmer for 2 hours (it seems too long, I think 15 minutes would be plenty until sauce is tight), 25 minutes stirring occasionally.
