Step 1: Prepare the mint by folding the leaves and cutting out the center vein.
Step 2: Then dice the leaves very finely.
Step 3: Reserve a few leaves for garnish.
Step 4: Wash and cut the limes in half.
Step 5: Juice with a press or by hand.
Step 6: Reserve a few thin slices of lime for garnish.
Step 7: Use your own preferences as a guide when deciding to use more or less limes. Remember, if it’s too tart for your taste, you can always add more water or sugar later.
Step 8: Combine the water, lime juice, sugar and mint in a blender on medium speed for a minute or two. You want to give the sweetener a chance to dissolve and allow the mint to be mixed thoroughly with the liquid.
Step 9: Pour the mint limeade into a glass pitcher over crushed ice. Garnish with mint leaves and lime slices.
Step 10: Serve and enjoy!
