Step 1: Begin by heating up 1/2 cup water and two bouillon cubes in the microwave for about 2 minutes; stir them to dissolve into the hot water.
Step 2: In a medium saucepan, on medium heat, whisk together the dissolved cubes, butter, flour, and chicken broth.
Step 3: Continue whisking up until it gets to a low boil to be sure that you get all the lumps out.
Step 4: Add additional salt and or pepper to your taste.
