The ingredients are:
  • 2 yellow onions, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons butter (called for chicken fat)
  • 1 tablespoons paprika
  • 4 pound whole chicken (cut up)
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 can (15 ounce) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup sour cream

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown butter and onions. Add paprika and chicken, cook 10 minutes, dont burn. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Step 2: Add garlic, stock and tomatoes; simmer 90 minutes covered, until tender.

  • Step 3: Remove the chicken then blend in sour cream.

  • Step 4: Add chicken back and cook 5 more minutes, dont boil.

  • Step 5: Serve over egg dumpling noodles.
