  • 1 pound turnips (diced cooked and drained)
  • 4 ounces bacon (4 strips, cooked and diced)
  • 1 can (15 ounce) green peas (drained, heated in bacon grease)
  • 3 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons whole wheat flour

How to Make

  • Step 1: Add milk that has been mixed with the wheat flour to the turnips; cook 10 minutes kinda mashing the turnips (should be thick and creamy).

  • Step 2: Cook peas in bacon grease adding the bacon.

  • Step 3: Put turnips in bowl, then put beans and bacon on top.
