Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 potatoes (2 to 2 1/2 pounds) sweet potatoes (peeled then sliced 1-inch thick)
  • Parboiled
  • 3 pounds ham (cut into large slices)
  • 8 whole cloves
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place potatoes around ham.

  • Step 2: Stick cloves in ham in the fat, then pour the maple syrup over top.

  • Step 3: Cover, then bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Uncover, and cook 10 more minutes at 450 degrees (so the top will brown browns top).

  • Step 4: Remove the cloves before serving.
