The ingredients are:
  • 1 pie crust (9 inch, prepared)
  • 4 ounces white chocolate (4 squares white baking chocolate)
  • 3 teaspoons milk
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 1 cup heavy cream (whipped)
  • 28 ounces strawberries, sliced (3 cups sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon apricot preserves
  • 1/2 teaspoon water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Cook pie crust as directed and then let it cool completely on a rack.

  • Step 2: In a microwave safe bowl, microwave the 4 squares of chocolate and milk for 2 minutes or until softened. Cool to room temperature.

  • Step 3: In another bowl and using an electric mixer beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar and orange peel for about 2 minutes or until smooth. Beat in the chocolate and fold in whipped cream.

  • Step 4: Spread filling in the cooled pie shell. Arrange strawberry slices on filling in a circle so the points face outward.

  • Step 5: Heat the preserved and the water; stir to combine and brush on top of the strawberries.

  • Step 6: Refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.
