Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup beer (your favorite kind)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix all the ingredients together except the beer.

  • Step 2: Shape mixture into 6 patties, each about 1-inch thick. Place the patties in an ungreased baking dish, 10 X 6 X 1 3/4-inches. Pour the beer over the patties, then cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours. (Meat may turn gray, but it is ok).

  • Step 3: Remove patties from the marinade. Broil or grill the patties 4 inches from the heat, turning once, to the desired doneness, about 15 to 20 minutes.

  • Step 4: Serve on buns or rolls with your favorite toppings. (Good on rye bread)
