Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 250 grams cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons tomato paste
  • 3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce (Tabasco sauce)
  • Seasoning
  • 1 can (220 gram) red salmon (drained & flaked)
  • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs (fresh whole wheat)
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds (toasted)
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

How to Make

  • Step 1: Beat the first 6 ingredients in a bowl until they are smooth and creamy, stir in the salmon and breadcrumbs.

  • Step 2: Refrigerate until the mixture is firm.

  • Step 3: Combine the almonds, onion and parsley.

  • Step 4: Mould the salmon mixture into 4 even size logs and roll in the almond mixture.

  • Step 5: Wrap the logs in plastic wrap and chill until required.

  • Step 6: Serve with savoury biscuits or crackers.
